Someone in this role should have general knowledge of automotive service writing, with a willingness to learn the RV industry.
RV Service Writer Job Responsibilities Identifies potential RV problems and services, and generates quotes for customer RV repairs over the phone Develops estimates by costing parts, supplies, and labor; calculates customer's payments and meets financial budgets Create and review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing Verifies warranties and service contract agreements to meet customer's needs Verifies progress of work orders to meet deadlines; contacts customers as needed for updates on the progress Must be highly organized and work well under pressure.
