As a Counter Sales Associate, you select the material the customer is requesting from the computer menu accurately, ring up sales, take payments, send the order out to the shop, and issue receipts.
You will provide excellent customer service by ensuring all transactions run smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Most of our customers are repeat local contractors are are really great to work with.
Responsibilities Greet each customer with a smile and actively assist while they are shopping Work the register to ring up sales and complete transactions Collect payments by cash, credit card, and account Issue receipts and refunds to customers Maintain a solid knowledge of product inventory to assist customers with their selections Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service Willingness to work well in a team environment Ability to quickly and accurately record order requests in the computer Willingness to work a fixed schedule (M-F 7:
15 AM - 4:
15 PM & Every other Saturday 7:
45 AM -12:
15 PM).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
