Description:
The Facilitator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, recording and managing meetings involving Subject Matter Experts, program staff, technology staff, business staff, contractors, and other stakeholders. These sessions are typically information gathering meetings to make and document decisions. The Facilitator is personable, a good listener, well organized, a proficient writer, and can actively document meetings.
Role:
Schedule project meetings.
Create meeting agendas.
Capture and distribute meeting minutes.
Assist in the facilitation of meetings for multi-year projects.
Assist the Project Management Team as necessary.
Perform receptionist duties.
Track the progress of open action items.
Prepare project Status reports for the Sponsors, State Project management team, and others, as prescribed.
Work with the State Project Director and project staff on updating and refreshing all project documentation.
Work with the State Project Director and project staff on organizing project documentation.
Communicate verbally and in writing to multiple project stakeholders internal and external to the organization.
Assist and prepare project communications and announcements.
Coordinate project tracking and reporting.
Track and Report on project deliverables.
Track and Report on project budget.
Track and Report on status, risks, issues, and other areas as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skill Required / Desired
Years of Relevant Experience: 2 to 5 years
Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
Microsoft Office 2007 Required 4 Years
Microsoft Office 2010 Required 2 Years
Microsoft Project Required 1 Years
Prior experience in meeting facilitation Required 5 Years
Experience working in a support capacity within a Project Management team Required 2 Years
Prior experience tracking action items, issues, and risks Required 2 Years
Excellent organization and communication skills Required
Government experience in the healthcare arena Nice to have 2 Years

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
