Verification Analyst Role:
At Discover Financial Services, our analysts are responsible for reviewing and analyzing credit applications to approve or decline the requests based upon pre-established credit policies and procedures. In addition, they utilize an on-line processing system to analyze information on applications, and credit bureau files to aide in the verification and approval process.
Qualifications
oAbility to effectively engage Customers while navigating multiple proprietary systems
oHighly flexible and willing to perform multiple work functions
oTeam player with desire to excel and grow with Discover
oExperience and comfort with presenting and fulfilling multiple products to new customers
oStrong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make clear and appropriate decisions based on multiple data sources
oProfessional demeanor and presentation skills
oPrior documented track record of leading performance in a professional organization
oExcellent communication, negotiation, problem solving and sales skills
oMust provide excellent Customer service to both internal and external customers
oMust be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
oBachelors degree or progress towards is desired
All candidates must have availability to work an evening schedule until 10pm and be available for a weekend and holiday rotation. Position starts April, 7, 2014 with no time off for the 1st eight (8) weeks of employment. Training will be for 6 weeks from 4pm- 10pm, Monday through Friday.
