Job Description

Enhance your career in the growing healthcare industry by joining our team as aPatient Account Representativewhere you will work in a high-volume call center environment, and will utilize your exceptional telephone, customer service, and problem solving skills to assist patients with their hospital accounts and to collect payment. Must be able to work Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of in-bound and out-bound calls from patients, hospitals, and insurance carriers to resolve patient accounts and collect payment.
Research alternate insurance or payment options available while navigating and updating multiple patient accounting systems
Assess caller status to ensure the protection of patient privacy and compliance with State and Federal guidelines

Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a collections or healthcare business office environment
Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills with an emphasis on customer service
Excellent computer and multi-tasking skills
Ability to identify an issue, examine options, and provide an effective solution
High school diploma or equivalent

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
