Enhance your career in the growing healthcare industry by joining our team as aManager of Patient Accountswhere you will manage the day to day relationship with assigned client hospitals and lead a work team responsible for ensuring accurate insurance processing and collection of patient accounts, system checks and audits, and applicable system, productivity, and accounting reporting
Responsibilities:
Manage the liquidity and oversight of assigned hospital accounts, ensuring aging and recovery expectations are met.
Direct a team of Patient Account Representatives to ensure performance and productivity standards are met.
Prepare monthly performance reports and conduct monthly performance meetings with assigned hospitals
Maintain and update applicable reporting systems and conduct account and inventory audits
Utilize multiple internal and external processing systems, operational processes, and reporting mechanisms in order to compile and analyze statistical data and identify systems performance to implement necessary and required changes
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience and expertise in healthcare billing and collection field including staff management.
Comprehensive understanding of healthcare and collection industry laws and regulations
Experience with healthcare receivables, insurance claims, denial, and appeal processing, including ICD-9, CPT, HCPC codes, and UB and 1500 claims forms.
Ability to analyze and resolve problems, audit reports, and identify payor trends and reimbursement discrepancies.
Bachelor s Degree
Proficiency Microsoft Office applications
