Provides a variety of administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department, specifically in the areas of recruiting
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to coordinating interviews for employment candidate, posting open jobs with various recruiting resources, collecting candidate affirmative action data, screening applicant resumes for hiring managers, coordinating the new hire on-boarding process, coordinating candidate job offers, coordinating immigration administration for employee visas or green card applications, processing HR data, record keeping, filing and other general administrative duties
Position will also be the primary fill-in for covering the front desk reception duties when the receptionist is absent or at lunch
Limited clerical experience (0-2 years) preferably in a function requiring the need for confidentiality required
Educational background in Human Resources or some prior recruiting environment experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of the organization as well as outside employment applicants and vendors required
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Competent general computer skills along with Microsoft Office / Outlook software applications experience
Strong time management skills and desire to learn about Human Resources for future company growth required.
Ability to organize and prioritize work activities and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to make practical decisions without appreciable direction or advance preparation. Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of personnel.
Ability to understand and use a variety of word processing, data base management, spreadsheet and presentation software to prepare reports, correspondence, documents and presentations.
Ability to travel internationally and to work with individuals from many different countries.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
